Good Companions is our second home, which we opened in 2011, and since then it has been fully renovated and beautifully refurbished with all rooms having en-suite bathrooms. It houses our friendly Day Care Centre where we offer a range of activities and the very best in Dementia Care.

Good Companions is situated on Roe Lane, which is only a short walk to the beautiful Botanic Gardens and close to historic Churchtown Village, and yet only a short bus ride to the town centre.

The Role

At Good Companions, we are searching for a new Domestic/House Keeper to join our team. You will be working as part of a team to ensure the residents rooms and all areas of the house are cleaned to the highest standard.

In this role you will be:

  • Adhering to all cleaning schedules and the colour-coded equipment system
  • Respectful of resident’s personal information - always maintaining confidentiality
  • Complying with all relevant statutory and legal requirements
  • Taking an active role in identifying the changing needs of our clients and realising the importance of maintaining accurate documentation
  • Knowledgeable in respect of all Infection Control regulations and procedures, adhering to these at ALL times, to prevent cross contamination

Qualifications

None required, but increased rate of pay if you hold a relevant NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification. Experience within the care sector is preferred but not essential.

Conditions apply

*Pay will be determined on age, experience and qualifications. Your hourly rate will be reviewed again on the successful completion of your 6 month probationary period.

**Payable on completion of a successful 6 month probation. The employee that made the referral must also remain employed by us, in order to be eligible for the £50 Bonus.
