*Twilight Hours - 6 - 9pm, 7 days a week 

 

Asmall Hall

Asmall Hall is located on Asmall Lane on the outskirts of Ormskirk. It is a beautiful 17th Century Manor House, set in acres of landscaped gardens and woodland, giving the feeling of tranquility and peacefulness. Only 5 minutes from Ormskirk town centre and 15 minutes from Southport.

Since the change of ownership, late 2016, Asmall Hall is in the process of being fully refurbished, providing a refreshing and revitalised environment for our residents and employees. Our dedicated team of care professionals have been focusing on bringing the level of care up to the high standards expected of the Group.

The Role

At Asmall Hall, we are searching for a new Twilight Kitchen Assistant to join our team. You will be responsible for the kitchen clean up after a busy day, making sure food is prepped for our chef team the next morning and assisting care staff to make food / drinks for our residents throughout the evening. 

In this role you will be:

  • Adhering to the HACCP procedure according to our Food Safety Management Documentation
  • Maintaining the kitchen hygiene and support throughout the evening
  • Actively participating in discussions, with the kitchen team, to improve the service 
  • Understanding the function of mandatory paperwork and record food, freezer & fridge temperatures
  • Ensuring that the crockery and cutlery are cleaned as per Infection Control Guidelines
  • Ensuring that ALL kitchen supplies are cleaned as per Infection Control Guidelines
  • Prepping food for the following day shift
  • Supporting the care staff in providing refreshments to both resident’s families and professionals

Experience

The ideal candidate will preferably have:

  • Experience in a similar hospitality role for a minimum of 1 year
  • Knowledge of service delivery standards
  • Understanding of the individual needs of residents and nutrition

Conditions apply

*Pay will be determined on age, experience and qualifications. Your hourly rate will be reviewed again on the successful completion of your 6 month probationary period.

**Payable on completion of a successful 6 month probation. The employee that made the referral must also remain employed by us, in order to be eligible for the £50 Bonus.
