Asmall Hall is located on Asmall Lane on the outskirts of Ormskirk. It is a beautiful 17th Century Manor House, set in acres of landscaped gardens and woodland, giving the feeling of tranquility and peacefulness. Only 5 minutes from Ormskirk town centre and 15 minutes from Southport.

Since the change of ownership, late 2016, Asmall Hall is in the process of being fully refurbished, providing a refreshing and revitalised environment for our residents and employees. Our dedicated team of care professionals have been focusing on bringing the level of care up to the high standards expected of the Group.

The Role

At Asmall Hall, we are searching for a new RGN/RMN. You will be advising and working closely with the Care Team to deliver the highest standards of individual care to our residents, ensuring everyone is treated with respect and ensuring their individual care plans are met. 

You will be: 

  • Regularly reviewing and completing all documentation as required
  • Ensuring all appropriate aspects of nursing care, requiring clinical interventions are followed in line with current guidelines
  • Ensuring effective partnership and communication with the wider multidisciplinary teams
  • Monitoring and controlling resident’s nutritional & dietary requirements
  • Ensuring that the care team recognise their personal responsibility in the safeguarding of our residents and the care they receive
  • Carrying out clinical assessments and be involved with the development of individualised Care Plans

  • Basic computer skills
  • Some experience of Dementia (not essential)

Qualifications & Experience

For this role it is essential that you:

  • Are currently registered with NMC with a valid PIN number
  • Have relevant Care Home experience
  • Have knowledge of regulatory framework relating to Care Homes
  • Have experience in administering medications (to include enteral feeding tubes), wound care, infection control and pressure area care

Payable on successful completion of the 6 month probationary period and 1 year service with the company.

Based on Full Time hours / Part Time hours pro rata.

**Pay will be negotiable dependant on age, experience, seniority and qualifications.

Your hourly rate will be reviewed again on the successful completion of your 6 month probationary period.

***Payable on successful completion of the 6 month probationary period. The employee that made the referral must also remain employed by us, in order to be eligible for the £50 Bonus.
